The National Council for Promotion of Sindhi Language (NCPSL) is an autonomous body estabilished under the Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education (MoE), Government of India. It was founded on May 26, 1994, under the Societies Act of 1860. The primary objective of NCPSL is to promote, develop and propagate the Sindhi language. This includes making available scientific and technical knowledge, as well as modern ideas, in Sindhi. The Council also advises the Government of India on matters realted to Sindhi Language and education, and undertakes various activities and schemes to achieve its promotional goals.
